Our STORY

Doing something you love and that makes you happy is a notion Erin’s dad instilled in her from a young age, and so her business vision always included a physical space, a community and a culture because the experience of work, and of life, is what matters. 

The idea of designing a private and luxurious location that allowed for co-working, content and events was a forgotten dream from when Erin was a teenager. But it was the heritage-listed building itself, which belonged to Erin’s Father-In-Law and dates back to c.1878, that inspired realising the modern concept. And so Erin and her husband Jonathan restored the building over the summer of 2019-2020 with the goal of keeping as much of the old-world charm as possible. The high ceilings, original floor boards and intricate panelling were renovated with care by DNA Constructions as Erin planned, designed and oversaw the entire building and interiors project. Erin’s dear friend Candice Michell of Candice Michell Creative helped to source furniture, art and objects and make Erin’s vision - and dream - a reality. 

And so, Blancspace Maison was created to seamlessly blend home, office and hospitality. To link high-touch with high-tech. And to bring like-minded people and pursuits together for world-class experiences and meaningful collaborations in a space that inspires doing something you love.
